More tests needed: This can be asthma, you may need pulmonary function tests and a chest xray a simple ekg may not be enough. You may need an echoekg and even a stress test esophageal reflux can cause these symptoms as well it becomes a matter of systematically narrowing down the possibilities.

Not enough info: Ekg does not provide enough information to say that shortness of breath is not cardiac. You need a visit to your doctor or a cardiologist and you may need chest x rays and an echocardiogram. Do it soon!
