Going on second week of shortness of breath now at rest. went to the clinic where the dr did ekg and said it was norm. had dental wrk done 3 weeks ago, what could this be? feel cold air in chest too.

More tests needed: This can be asthma, you may need pulmonary function tests and a chest xray a simple ekg may not be enough. You may need an echoekg and even a stress test esophageal reflux can cause these symptoms as well it becomes a matter of systematically narrowing down the possibilities.
