A member asked:

37.7% neutrophils and 47.3% lymphocytes with anc neutrophil absolute = 1.48 k/cu mm. all other values for cbc in the normal range. cause for concern?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, while your cell counts are slightly out of kilter, it is not a reason to be concerned about. If you do not have any symptoms, watchful waiting is appropriate.
