Get help: Amphetamines, if one does not have something like ADHD, are very, very addictive. While some just taper and stop, most need guidance, support, and other assistance. And they must be ready. It may sound simple, but it is challenging, complicated. If you are ready to taper and stop, then consult an addiction specialist, or a psychiatrist, or start a twelve-step program.

Get help: High tolerance may be another way of saying you're dependent on amphetamines. Get help from addiction specialty doctor or psychiatrist to wean you safely off amphetamines. Without knowing dose of what you take, you may be also at risk for mental and physical health problems. Consider going to a self-help group such as NA for support to quit.
