33 week baby ultrasound shows prominent renal pelvises. left 5.8mm and the right is 8.7cm. isn't that a huge issue?

Enlarged renal pel-: ves. A fetal anatomic survey by a perinatologist is indicated. The kidneys should be monitored once a month to be sure that the ureteropelvic junction does not constrict, a rare occurrence causing hydronephrosis, which is a treatable condition if found early .
