Without a picture...: Without a picture of the rash, and without asking other questions, it's hard to say what's happening. It may be a normal rash, freckles, or something else entirely. But a "freckled" red rash that lasts for days may be petechiae, which are tiny bruises, and which would need further investigation by a doctor. You should call his doc who can ask more questions and do a full exam.
