Emphysema: While no test is 100%, assume the test was administered in the 'right' way because 95% of the time, repeating it gives the same results. Hyperaeration (too much air in lungs) can be artifactual but the Radiologist (a good one, anyway) would note that by careful observation (lungs vs. bones).
