Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) Stains: Did you rinse your mouth with Chlorhexidine (Peridex) after oral surgery? Using this rinse more than two times a day or more than 30 seconds may cause staining of your teeth. The good news is that stains can be removed by your dentist during a usual dentaal cleaning.
