Does having surgery cause a bad taste in your mouth?

Perhaps: Some of the drugs used for anesthesia can leave a strange taste in the mouth. It should go away. If not, contact the anesthesiologist, your surgeon, or your primary care provider. In the meantime, you could try a mouthwash or lozenges.

No : Surgery will not cause bad taste , may some times immediately after surgery due to medication which will wears off, or may be due to some current medication.
