Six year old woke at 5 a.m. with temp of 101 (mouth)/103 (ear). woke again at 7, normal temp. should we be concerned or watching for further symptoms?

Watch for now: Did you give her any fever medication at 5 AM? If yes, that would explain the normal 7 AM temp. If she has a recurrence of her fever and complains of a sore throat, or a cough with chest discomfort, or severe abdominal pain or discomfort passing urine, then have her Pediatrician check her.
