I am 22 and i got myocarditis a few weeks ago. i'm on meds and i do regular check-ups. but i'm not really getting better yet. what is the likelyhood for full recovery for people with myocarditis? can i still hope?

Yes: The prognosis is very variable depending on the etiology of the myocarditis and the severity at the time of diagnosis. There are over 20 different viruses that can cause myocarditis. In addition myocarditis can be caused by hypersensitivity drug reactions, bee venom allergy, direct toxic effect of chemicals(Cocaine), auto-immune disorders just to name a few of the causes.See> http://bit.ly/1u6xlbf

Yes: You will definitely get better. It's just take a long time (3-6 month) to recover for your heart. Make sure get plenty of rest and nutrition.

Not sure.: You did not mention what kind of myocarditis you have - Bacterial, viral, or some other inflammatory disease like connective tissue disorder. The treatment and outcome is different in all of them.
