No: Although not normal, nosebleeds in pregnancy occur frequently. It is caused by increased blood flow to the tissue lining the inside of the nasal passages. Avoid using nasal decongestants, such as allergy pills or sprays. Use a humidifier at night. Blow your nose gently, one nostril at a time. Put a thin layer of a saline- or water-based nasal gel, such as NasoGel, inside your nose before bed.
