PET scan: No, PET scan is a diagnostic tool and it helps in diagnosis, in PTS, brain MRI and measuring the CSF pressure are enough for diagnosis in addition to the clinical picture.

No: It might be used as a way to monitor the condition but such a scan has no therapeutic effect.
