Obstructed bile duct: If your bile ducts are completely obstructed, jaundice and stool color changes will occur simultaneously. In fact, it is possible to notice the jaundice first if it is a while before a bowel movement is actually passed. Regardless, there should not be much difference in time between the two occurrences. This is a medical emergency if it happens. Good luck.
