If bile ducts are blocked shouldnt change in stool color be first notice than jaundice because my gi doc say that they happen the same time

Obstructed bile duct: If your bile ducts are completely obstructed, jaundice and stool color changes will occur simultaneously. In fact, it is possible to notice the jaundice first if it is a while before a bowel movement is actually passed. Regardless, there should not be much difference in time between the two occurrences.
