If your brother cannot communicate & his doctors have no legal written permission to share his Protected Health Information (PHI) with anyone, call the hospital's Medical Social Worker or Patient Advocate to determine how his doctors can legally share hiis PHI with you or another person. I hope he continues to improve.

Comments: Hard to be precise based upon information provided. Need to know if he had a head injury, or has an ongoing brain degenerative or infectious problem. Improvement would be based upon causation and treatment. Please provide more specifics so your question can be properly answered.
