Thyroid disease: What ever the cause of the thyroid problem is, in addition to the treatment of the cause, the thyroid level needs to be kept in normal range to avoid the consequences of hypo or hyperthyroidism.

Yes: Untreated Thyroid dysfunction can cause serious problems. Plain and simple you need a full evaluation and treatment and follow up if this is your thyroid...go tomorrow.
