Probably: Penicillin improves urinary symptoms only if they are caused by a penicillin-sensitive bladder or prostate infection. If your symptoms have been investigated with a urine test and prostate exam and found to be truly OAB, not an infection, then this was almost certainly coincidental. If you've not had the exam though, it would be best to discuss this with your doc especially if symptoms return.
