A member asked:

My arm is very sore after giving blood for the first time, i know it's normal, but i don't know what to do for the pain; it is in my bicep, not vein. ?

Pain medication: You may take any over the counter pain medication. Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be preferable. Continue with your usual activities and drink plenty of water. I applaud you for donating blood and being civic minded.
