Possible Sinusitis: The diagnosis of a bacterial sinus infection can be be quite difficult. Most causes of post nasal drip will not require antibiotics. Certainly facial pain and postnasal drip are important signs and can make you feel miserable. Your doctor will need to get more details such as duration and other underlying conditions such as a cold or allergies. I hope your hypothyroidism is under control.
