Hello, i had the mumps around 4 years ago and ever since then i have had this problem. sometimes feel iike it is very difficult to breathe. i have stuck my finger in my throat, not very deep, and i have felt a flab (muscle or cartilage) in the middle

Uvula or eppiglottis: AS mentioned it sounds like normal anatomy...a guess, since we cannot examine you in this set up. Mumps is uncommon, again assuming you were vaccinated, with the MMR vaccine twice in your life. So really hard to co relate all this . If concerned please consult a doctor soon.

I was bed bound for a week then had a blood transfusn + potas iv this week. Recently it became irritating to take a deep breath-dull pain into throat that makes me auto cough, I can breath freely tho. Idk if this is serious or just a pulled muscle?
Is it possible to pull muscle or strain your throat? Have been checking it in mirror and now pain in throat when taking deep breath or swallowing that feels like muscle?
