2 weeks post: partum you should be able to do the Pilates and isometrics that you mentioned. You should also work on flexibility exercises such as Yoga. Once your body is back into the swing of things, and you can do all the housework without any issues, then cardio to burn fat (and return to your body shape) as well as abdominal toning exercises are recommended.
