Further workup : May need further workup. Have you seen a rheumatologist? There are many other potential causes. Psoriasis is one example. A percentage of patients with psoriasis will have an associated inflammatory arthritis, and it is characterized by diffuse swelling in the fingers. There are many other possibilities as well.
