Hernia: Possible umbilical/ peri-umbilical hernia from your description. May stay the same or may enlarge over time, and may pose a risk for bowel problems if tissue becomes caught in it. Should be examined.and discuss options with abdominal surgeon.

Hernia?: Seems likely to be an umbilical hernia. Usually these are benign. (Don't cause serious problems) Suggest you see a surgeon to evaluate, but seek a second opinion if surgery suggested. Don't worry too much. Be well!
