Depends on size: Epididymal cysts are relatively common and benign. By themselves, they do not cause problems with your health (i.e., you won't die from it). Depending on the size, however, they can cause problems. They can block the epididymis causing infertility, veins causing swelling/pain, or the urethra causing retention. Ask a Urologist if it can / should be drained (hopefully not in the operating room). GL!
