26 male. Prostatitis symptms for years. 5 diff uros, all checks "normal". Low/good PSA test. Ultrasnd "prost looks relatively small", but recent pain in lower left back when bending certain ways for 2 wks now and symps. seem worse. Chance of cancer?
On Bactrim for Prostatitis. My GP just drew labs&did a UA. UA clear. Labs ok, excp my PSA was 5.94. CT w iodine iv contrast of abd and pelvic, no findings 4 abd pain nov 7th. Prostatitis raise PSA? 51yo male. Never had issues w prostate before?
Should you get a PSA test during a prostatitis flare up or should you wait for it to resolve? Flare ups typically last 3 to 4 months once a year.
My husbend has fever 101.3F and frequant urinating. Doc says prostatitis. Rectal exam ok. Xray is good but PSA is 38 does it necessarily mean cancer?
