Normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, PSA level of 0.24 is normal. PSA cannot be too low.

Should you get a PSA test during a prostatitis flare up or should you wait for it to resolve? Flare ups typically last 3 to 4 months once a year.
My husbend has fever 101.3F and frequant urinating. Doc says prostatitis. Rectal exam ok. Xray is good but PSA is 38 does it necessarily mean cancer?
