Gastritis: There are many types of gastritis, so it is difficult to generalize. I see you are already on lansoprezole. Be sure to take it on a daily basis just as prescribed, best about 20 minutes before eating some food. You can also use antacids such as Tums (calcium carbonate) or Mylanta as needed. Avoid any NSAIDs and aspirin. If you are no better in 1 to 2 weeks, see your doctor. Good luck.
