Get him checked: I don't believe that this condition is caused by either teething or a food allergy. If you feel like this is a serious situation then see a pediatrician. If your child is otherwise normal and seems healthy it may be nothing to worry about.

Hands, feet, tip of nose are always ice cold. Never changes color but nail beds are frequently purple. In bed @ night is the only time they are warm. ?
