Could a hiatal hernia be caused by ovarian cysts? i had them at same time before, have hernia again, am curious if it's likely more cysts formed too.

No: Ovarian cysts do not cause hiatal hernias and ovarian cysts do not cause hiatal hernias. It is an unlucky coincidence.
