A member asked:

Will pep still be effective 2 weeks after a possible exposure to hiv? recently found out i have chlamydia and now i want to be tested 4 everything.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

3 days only: PEP for HIV should be given within 3 days ( https://www.aids.gov/hiv-aids-basics/prevention/reduce-your-risk/post-exposure-prophylaxis/ ). Sounds like you should be tested for at least GC, syphilis, and HIV, maybe Hep C and HSV I and II. Often available through local health department clinic at little or no direct cost.
