Took a hpt today and it was positive. i would currently be 5 weeks along. i have been spotting from extremely light to moderate with no cramping. today i had some small clots with it. it ranges from bright red to burgandy. should i be worried?

Yes: Although bleeding in early pregnancy is relatively common and often benign, it is essential that you see a doctor ASAP. You need to know your blood type, HCG and progesterone levels. Your doc will use that information to determine how the pregnancy is progressing and whether or not you should worry.

Well: Well not necessarily abnormal to spot the clots are more concerning. Best to get in to see your doctor and have some blood work done
