Not at all: It is common for people to not be hungry when ill and not eating may actually improve immune function as anything that increases blood sugar reduces the activity of our white blood cells. Lack of appetite when ill is nature's way of helping us to heal. Not eating for a few days is unlikely to harm him but make sure he drinks water and perhaps some chicken or vegetable broth for electrolytes.
