Drowsiness?: I am assuming you saw a doctor for the diagnosis of vertigo. If you did and have significant symptoms, the meclizine is one of the meds used to help the condition. if your dx was by a friend and the med was not prescribed for you then see your MD. drowsiness can be a side effect
