See a Psychiatrist for Severe Anxiety and your emotional turmoil for Therapy, Catharsis of traumatic experience, Medication, Breathing and Music Relaxation, Visual Imagery, Yoga, and Meditation. Benzodiazepines like Ativan and Xanax (alprazolam) will be beneficial. Discuss with Psychiatrist Medication benefits and side effects, dose and continue follow up Do Exercise and Tai Chi.

Anxiety help: Suggest working with a mental health professional to address anxiety. There are several effective non-medication therapies that are worth trying. If meds are necessary, they may be added. There is no medication 'quick fix' for severe anxiety/PTSD. I hope you consider one or another talk therapy, CBT etc in combination with anti-anxiety med, eg. SSRI.
