A member asked:

What would be generally considered a high dose of vitamin c?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I say 2000 mg: I personally don't recommend more than 2000 mg or so. While your body can't really overdose on vitamin c, since it's water soluble and the body just excretes whatever amount it doesn't need, you can get kidney stones from taking too much vitamin c, hence the limits.
