Will high doses of vitamin c terminate pregnancy?

No: There is no scientific evidence that high doses of vitamin c are associated with an increased risk of miscarriage. It is not recommended that any pregnant woman take medications or vitamin supplementation without discussing this with their obstetrician.

Possibly: At high doses vitamin c acts as a pro-oxidant and excessive oxidative stress could theorectically lower Progesterone levels and lead to an miscarriage.
