Exercise: Exercise 20 minutes/day. Walk your dog for 20 minutes. Take a nice walk after dinner or during your lunch hour. You can even break it up into two 10 minute segments.

Difficult question: Weight gain is a complex problem. As you know there are many people who eat tremendous amounts of food and do not gain weight. There are also those who gain weight with very little increase in food intake. There are many genetic factors. Usually there ia a balance between total calories, and activity. If you increase your calories you should increase your activity to burn them off.
