Unclear re: question: If you are asking about a child who fell and hit their head hard enough to have bruising, you must certainly be watchful for concussion. An ear is easily swollen and bruised through injury. If there is bruising directly behind the ear, this may be a sign of skull fracture! Have her evaluated by a health care provider to be sure.
