Had flu shot tuesday; developed dark bruise, body aches, postnasal drip, swollen neck (under ears), headache, congestion, but no fever on tuesday night. thursday night, swollen neck, headache, slight conjestion. improper injection? normal symptom?

The flu vaccine (or any injection) can result in a bruise at the injection site. But none of your other symptoms is possibly due to the vaccine. Almost certainly you were just unlucky and a cold a couple days before the shot, not causing all your other symptoms. Or it could be COVID; you should be tested for it. Good luck.
