Very common: Having pain after your surgery is expected. Rinse your mouth with salt water frequently to help keep it clean and prevent an infection and take some NSAIDs OTC.

Worried?: No. This doesn't sound particularly abnormal. Go back to your dentist for a follow up if it bothers you more than a week, though..

Probably not: You seem to be having a relatively uneventful course of healing. If you have any concerns, however, give your treating Dentist or Oral Surgical Specialist a call.
