Normal exam : We all have lymph nodes in our necks. As long as they are not much larger than 10 mm then they are normal. "Reactive nodes" is the term to differentiate nodes that are just slightly larger because of an upper respiratory infection.

Pretty normal: 3mm is not very large, you can get lymph nodes from inflammation like from a cold but at 3mm they aren't even that enlarged. Certainly does not seem like cancer which would be 5 to 10 times larger.
