Cyproterone acetate: Cyproterone acetate certainly can cause elevated liver tests, but it usually occurs when taking higher doses, such as 50 to 100 mg per day. I would not change your dosage on your own, but I would speak with your urologist and probably consult a gastroenterologist to evaluate your liver. If your urologist thinks you can reduce or stop it, it would be a good idea until you are evaluated. Good luck.
