Those can happen in acute illness when you are treated with antibiotic. I have prescribed lisinopril and amlodipine for many years but I never encountered a case with this side effect but it does not mean it won't happen. After you are done with the acute illness and off ampicillin for 2 weeks, liver function test should be rechecked. If abnormality persists, med change + work-up are required.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the lab anomalies may be due to infection being treated. Your doctor may repeat the tests in 3-4 months. No alcohol, avoid acetaminophen. Wish you good health!
