A member asked:

Two swollen lymph nodes in groin area. afraid i have cancer in reproductive system. is this rare or common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not Gyn: If the presence of groin nodes do not represent a primary process in those nodes such as Infection or tumor then if there is existing pathology it has spread from well defined sites such as thigh or even lower leg, vulvae, or perianal area. Cancer in reproductive system when noted in nodes are defined by those in the pelvic hypogastric area.
