Hi there, I seem to be experiencing rapid hair loss all of a sudden. Can anyone give me an idea of what could be wrong? I thought it was an iron deficiency and have since been taking supplements and eating foods that have a high iron content.

Ive just found out my 5yr old is iron deficient& he is now taking supplements.He has a v. varied, healthy, iron rich dietis there anything else that could cause this? He has also recently suffered with night terrors-could the two be related?
Blood test showed low iron saturation at 14%, normal 20-40%. Only other abnormal lab was elevated B12 at 1297. I do take a B12 supplement because I was told years ago I was deficient. Are these concerning??
