What is pre teething? can teething symptoms appear in a 10 week old? we have chewing, drooling, rubbing her face in her sleep, not sleeping well, etc. with no fever.

It's a little early: It's possible, but I'd be surprised if she were teething. More likely, she found her hands! Unfortunately, drooling, face-rubbing, and restless sleep aren't very specific for teething--could be lots of other things, almost all totally normal! If you're worried, though, you should definitely talk to your pediatrician about what could be going on!

Of course: Your teeth just don't pop out of you gums like pop tarts out of the toaster. They have to cut their way through virgin gums that have never been cut through before. Your adult teeth don't do this because a path is already there. However, when baby's first teeth are coming in, there are weeks if not months of cutting through those gums, which includes the drooling, fussy etc etc.
