Been told to take 1x 500mg of amoxicillin 3 times a day, with 6x 5mg prednisolone once a day in one go. is this safe?

Type of infection?: This type of treatment is usually used for chronic sinusitis . Side effects is related to the duration of Prednisone. If used for less than a week, you are likely ok although you may have trouble falling asleep with 30 mg daily. I do not use prednisone for acute sinusitis.
