Could be serious: Your question is beyond the scope of this Q & A format. Pain is the bodies sign that something is wrong that demands attention. The cause could be anything from a strain of the chest wall to a blood clot causing a pulmonary embolus...which is obviously serious. YOU NEED TO BE SEEN TODAY BY YOUR PCP OR IN THE ER
