A member asked:

Having chest pain, shortness of breath, pain on left side near ribcage n under breastbone.ctpa was negative, ct showed moderate residual hyperplasia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hyperplasia?: I am a radiologist. Hyperplasia is not a CT diagnosis. Please review the report and make sure you know what it says. Chest pain can be from a number of causes including local trauma, costochondritis, pleurisy, pneumonia, angina, etc. Talk with your doctor to get a better understanding of your condition. As you have access to the net, look up the conditions so you know what they are.
