My bipolar well controled with zyprexa (olanzapine). dr suspects zyp is causing lowt. is it logical to start trt thus increasing t. zy is lifesaver cant be changed?

Low T: I am not sure but I think you mean low Testosterone. Note that one of the side effects of zyprexa (olanzapine) is sexual libido inhibition in men. You need to see an endocrinologist to determine if this needed treatment or switch the bipolar drug. Best wishes.

Maybe: Your question is worth looking into, but without specifics as to what exactly is your current testosterone level, and what is optimal, it is not possible to formulate an appropriate treatment. You need to get your testosterone level checked, review what symptoms you believe are due to that, and go from there. Your symptoms may not be due to low testosterone. Please get checked by an expert.
