Ulnar neuropathy: is most likely. Be sure that you do not sleep or work in any position that puts pressure on your elbows. Consider wearing protective padding there. If you have any arthritis/neck problems, it could come from there instead, and you would need to see someone. In either case if it is getting worse you may need some nerve testing.

Pinched nerve neck: The symptoms you describe are most commonly caused by an nerve being pinched in the neck or possibly the spinal cord being pinched which would explain both arms being numb. Need to see your doctor for an examination including neurological examination and possibly an MRI of your cervical spine. EMG/nerve conduction study might also be helpful. This would be a good place to start. best of luck.

Anatomy: Dr Rochester considered neck problems, but could wonder about more peripheral locations also, such as shoulder area (thoracic outlet syndrome), elbow (cubital tunnel), wrist (carpal tunnel). Yes, an EMG may help, but better find a very experienced and up-to-date practitioner, or some important areas may not be fully tested. Maybe see a neurologist to get this all addressed.
